We’re told that this year’s class of pass rushers isn’t as strong as some past draft classes, and that’s discouraging because NFL teams are constantly, relentlessly looking for the next Jason Pierre-Paul or Jared Allen to counter the trend of pass-first offenses. So while that’s not great news for the NFL, it’s good for UNC’s Quinton Coples, one of the few pass rushers expected to go in the first round.
