North Carolina's Brandon Tate wants to score on every kick he returns against Maryland today in order to help his football team break its two-game losing streak. But he's got another incentive, too. "It's nice to get a breather," he said, laughing. Tate, a junior, is one of three double-duty Triangle players ranked among the ACC's top eight for all-purpose yardage -- a stat that tracks rushing, catching, returning. And endurance.
