Player of the year: Mike Scott, Virginia. I’ve been voting for ACC Player of the Year for nearly 30 years now, and this is by far the toughest call I can remember having to make. I really love Tyler Zeller. I love his game, I love his focus, I love his personality and I love the development he’s made over his four years at UNC. He’s a great player who has had a great year. But exactly the same thing can be said about Scott.
