Zack Pianalto has been a bright spot for Heels

North Carolina had no chance of mounting a comeback against Wake Forest last Saturday, but kept playing as if the ACC championship hinged on the outcome. Pianalto, a freshman H-back, had six catches for 55 yards, both career highs, but his work went for naught in a 37-10 shellacking. Coach saw few encouraging signs for the Tar Heels besides Pianalto’s determination to fight off Wake Forest by himself. (Winston-Salem Journal)
