No. 6 North Carolina was able to push across a late run to claim a 5-4 win over visiting Davidson (4-5) Tuesday night as the Tar Heels (9-2) earned their ninth win of the year. R.C. Orlan improved to 3-0 as he extended his scoreless streak to 16.2 by tossing two scoreless frames and Michael Morin notched his third save of the year.
