In ACC championship game, North Carolina seeks to erase 33

When North Carolina returned to Chapel Hill following its 90-57 at Florida State on Jan. 14, Tar Heels coach wrote the number 33 on a board inside the team’s locker room. The number, of course, was a reference to UNC’s margin of defeat against Florida State, which was the most lopsided of Williams’ nine seasons as UNC’s head coach. The “33” still hasn’t been erased.
