No. 1 seed North Carolina struggled to dispose of the Catamounts in the second round of the NCAA tournament but pulled out a 77-58 win in the Tar Heels’ third straight game without John Henson. UNC (30-5) moves on to play Creighton for a chance to go to the Sweet 16. The Tar Heels came out sluggish in the first half and didn’t lead by more than six until less than five minutes remained in the first half.
