Tar Heels routinely take care of business in NCAA opener

In a word, North Carolina’s 77-58 win against 16th seeded Vermont on Friday at Greensboro Coliseum was routine. And that’s exactly the way the Tar Heels wanted it. Coach Roy Williams’ team didn’t shoot particularly well against the Catamounts’ zone defense, making only 41.5 percent of their attempts from the floor and going 5 of 18 on 3-pointers.
