Tar Heels routinely take care of business in NCAA opener

In a word, North Carolina’s 77-58 win against 16th seeded Vermont on Friday at Greensboro Coliseum was routine. And that’s exactly the way the Tar Heels wanted it. Coach ’ team didn’t shoot particularly well against the Catamounts’ zone defense, making only 41.5 percent of their attempts from the floor and going 5 of 18 on 3-pointers. (Wilmington Star News)
