Few things get more personal than family history. His father, defensive back Reggie Pinkney, contributed significantly to East Carolina’s only win in Chapel Hill, 32 years ago. Aaron’s brother, Chris Curry, got three North Carolina letters and a degree, but problems with the previous coaching staff drove him to N.C. Central for his final football episode.
