Kendall Marshall had 11 assists against Creighton, his fifth double-figure assist effort in his last six outings. “To me he’s the straw that stirs the drink,” said Greg McDermott, the Creighton coach. “He’s in total control. His facial expressions don’t change. He’s a point guard that plays the game the right way and I have tremendous respect for him. He really made us pay today.” (ACC Sports Journal)
