A Wrist-Wracking Week
Posted Mar 20, 2012
Physician Selene Parekh of the North Carolina Orthopaedic Clinic and Duke Orthopaedics said that Kendall Marshall will have movement in his wrist, but will be in a lot of pain. Dr. Parekh said that normally the wrist is placed in a cast for 4 to 6 weeks and then put in a protective brace. Physician Steve Troum, who is an expert spokesman for the American Society for Surgery of the Hand, gave a more optimistic diagnosis, though.
