Wake Helps Heels Self-Destruct


The Tar Heels have come close numerous times this season. That allowed them to find solace even in defeat; surely the failings of youth, and the adjustment to new coach and staff, would recede with practice and experience. But in dropping to 2-6 after a bye week in which they had plenty of time to prepare, the Heels played their worst game of the year. (WRAL.com)
