Midwest region foes familiar with one another

There’s the obvious connection between neighboring ACC rivals North Carolina and N.C. State and, of course, the well-documented relationship between the Tar Heels and Kansas thanks to coach Roy Williams and his assistants Jerod Haase and C.B. McGrath, both former Jayhawks. Then there’s the lesser-known bond between Ohio University coach John Groce and N.C. State.
