Forced into his first career start by Kendall Marshall’s fractured right wrist, Stilman White handed out six assists, committed no turnovers and hit the two clinching free throws with 23.9 seconds left in the extra period to help his team survive 13th seeded Ohio 73-65. His fearless career-high 32-minute effort helped send UNC into Sunday’s region championship game against either N.C. State or Kansas.
