Kansas Outlasts North Carolina for Final Four Berth

Twice now in NCAA tournament play, UNC’s Roy Williams has coached against Kansas, the university he left in 2003 after 15 seasons to return to Chapel Hill. And twice now, the Jayhawks eliminated the Tar Heels from the tournament. It happened first in the 2008 Final Four semifinals, and again Sunday at the Edward Jones Dome for the Midwest Region championship. (New York Times)
