UAB hires North Carolina assistant coach Jerod Haase

Jerod Haase will become the fifth men's basketball head coach at UAB. Haase, an assistant coach at North Carolina, will be officially introduced as UAB's head coach during a press conference on Tuesday morning. Haase, who will turn 38 on April 1, will replace Mike Davis. Davis, who spent six seasons as UAB's head coach, was fired on March 16.
