Marcus Paige’s year continues as Tar Heels end season

Marcus Paige was still hurting a few hours after North Carolina’s men’s basketball team ended its season in an 80-67 loss to Kansas at St. Louis. The Linn-Mar of Marion senior — a Tar Heel recruit — won’t be on campus until later this year. But it stung watching his teammates fall short of a hoped-for NCAA Final Four berth. “I already feel like I’m on the team,” said Paige, who is in Chicago preparing for Wednesday’s McDonald’s All-American basketball games.
