1. Influence of injuries: As UNC guard Kendall Marshall and forward John Henson make decisions about entering the NBA Draft, fans might keep in mind the cases of Elton Brand (Duke), Ed Davis (UNC) and Kyrie Irving (Duke). All three entered the draft soon after suffering injuries in their final college seasons – Brand as sophomore in the 1999 draft, Davis as a sophomore in 2010 and Irving as a freshman last season.
