Somehow, it’s only appropriate that a group of players that came in with such fanfare should leave with such a whimper. Because for all they accomplished individually, John Henson, Kendall Marshall and especially Harrison Barnes fell well short when it came to living up expectations as a group. “I wish we’d been able to bring our fans a national championship, but it wasn’t meant to be,” Henson said in his farewell statement.
