Durell Mapp finds way among ACC elite


Refusing to drift into the possible ditches that have dotted his college football quest, has risen from a lightly pursued recruit to a walk-on to a mainstay at North Carolina. And it’s a climb that has penetrated the upper crust of the ACC defensive leaders. The Cummings High School product ranks third in the league in tackles as the Tar Heels head to Winston-Salem for Saturday game against Wake Forest. (Burlington Times News)
