Rodney Hood, Anthony Gill and Alex Oriakhi among possible transfers to Tobacco Road schools

In terms of new arrivals, the most intriguing names are Connecticut's Alex Oriakhi, South Carolina's Anthony Gill and Mississippi State's Rodney Hood. Oriakhi, a 6-foot-9 rising senior who will be eligible immediately, reportedly eliminated Duke from his list of finalists Tuesday. He is still looking at Missouri, Kentucky, North Carolina and Xavier. Gill, a 6-8 forward who averaged 7.6 points and 4.7 rebounds last season as a freshman, told Inside Carolina that he's been contacted by North Carolina. (Fayetteville Observer)
