Boo Williams boys elite team loses Nike EYBL opening game

The Boo Williams Summer League boys 17-under team lost the first game of Nike's Elite Youth Basketball League Friday night. Allerik Freeman, from Charlotte, led the Boo Williams team with 20 points. Anthony Barber of Hampton High scored 12 and Troy Williams of Phoebus added 11. Kennedy Meeks, a 6-foot-9, 275-pound widebody, scored 16 for Team United.
