DeCock: Loose ends in UNC’s football mess

The NCAA has ruled, the sanctions are in, and even the ACC has roused itself to scold North Carolina’s football program for its indiscretions. A new coaching staff is in place, along with a new athletic director, and the Tar Heels have, for the most part, moved on. There are still two very loose and parallel threads dangling from the mess that brought down Butch Davis.
