Report: East Carolina to play North Carolina in basketball

The Kinston Free Press is reporting that East Carolina's basketball team will play at North Carolina on Dec. 15. Officials from ECU and UNC said they could not confirm the information. The Pirates are coached by Jeff Lebo, who played at North Carolina from 1985-89. Roy Williams was a UNC assistant for three of those seasons. (Fayetteville Observer)
