North Carolina hires Hubert Davis as assistant basketball coach


Former UNC guard, 12-year NBA veteran and ESPN analyst is the Tar Heels' newest assistant men's basketball coach, head coach announced Wednesday. Davis has spent the past seven years with ESPN as a highly regarded college basketball analyst and co-host of College GameDay. He is replacing , who spent nine years on Williams' staff at UNC prior to being named the head coach at UAB. (Tar Heel Blue)
