Jones Angell still amazed he's the Voice of the Tar Heels

North Carolina play-by-play caller Jones Angell is nearing the end of his first year of being the Voice of the Tar Heels after Woody Durham retired following the end of the 2010-11 basketball season. “It’s weird for me because I still think of Woody so much as the Voice of the Tar Heels,” said Angell Thursday.
