Whitney Sprague Places Seventh At World Championships Swim Trials

Junior Whitney Sprague of the University of North Carolina placed seventh out of 26 competitors at the 2008 Open Water 10 Kilometer World Championships Trials for the United States at Miromar Lake in Fort Myers, Fla. The top two competitors in the race today advanced to the 2008 World Championships April 29-May 4, 2008 in Seville, Spain.
