Former UNC running back Mike Voight dies at age 58

Mike Voight, the second leading rusher in UNC history and a 2-time ACC player of the year, has died. He was 58. Voight's attorney, SuAnne Hardee Bryant, said Voight was found Tuesday morning at his home in Chesapeake, Va. Bryant said the cause of death wasn't immediately known. Voight ran for 3,971 yards and 42 touchdowns. He had three 1,000-yard seasons and twice was the top rusher in the ACC.
