Pitching prowess puts Tar Heels on big stage

North Carolina will send Hobbs Johnson to the mound for the opening game of the NCAA regionals today at Boshamer Stadium. The top-seeded Tar Heels take on fourth-seeded Cornell in the first round. Johnson will be in quite a position because he’s a member of one of the country’s most distinguished pitching staffs.
