Following hard hit, Tate's absence leaves void on Tar Heels' offense


No timetable for North Carolina receiver ’s return to action was given by coach , but the open date on the schedule this week should help Tate and other Tar Heels heal. Tate, a junior receiver / return specialist out of Cummings High School, left with a head injury that was later described as a concussion during North Carolina’s 21-15 loss Saturday to visiting South Carolina.
