Benton Moss Named Freshman All-America

Freshman right-hander Benton Moss was named a Louisville Slugger Freshman All-America as announced by the Collegiate Baseball Newspaper on Wednesday. Moss finished his first year as a Tar Heel with a 7-2 record and a starter-low 1.94 ERA. Moss made 17 appearances, including 16 starts, for the Tar Heels as a freshman throwing 79 innings.
