Leslie McDonald, Dexter Strickland follow similar path, similar adversity at UNC

As part of the same recruiting class, they began their careers with the Tar Heels in 2009. They have been roommates. And now they are a pair of upperclassmen who are assuming leadership roles while attempting to return from identical knee injuries. Leslie McDonald tore the ACL in his right knee during a summer league game in July 2011. Six months later, Dexter Strickland suffered the same injury.
