Team USA U18 advances to gold medal game with 107-72 destruction of Argentina

Employing a balanced attack featuring seven scorers in double figures, the United States stormed into the gold medal game of the FIBA Americas U18 Championship with a 107-72 destruction of Argentina in Sao Sebastiao do Paraiso, Brazil. Texas high schooler Julius Randle scored 15 points in Tuesday’s game to lead the U.S., which shot 54 percent from the field despite a shaky shooting night from 3-point range.
