North Carolina outplayed No. 7 South Carolina in the second half Saturday night, but a last-second T.J. Yates’ Hail Mary pass fell incomplete in the west end zone as the Gamecocks escaped Kenan Stadium with a 21-15 victory. This loss marks North Carolina’s fourth this season by six points or less.
