Drew Davis enrolls at UNC, will attempt to play

There may be a Davis roaming the football sidelines at North Carolina this coming season after all. UNC coach Larry Fedora said in a phone interview Monday that East Chapel Hill High graduate Drew Davis, the son of former coach Butch Davis, has been invited to walk on to the football team. “We told him if he wanted to play football at UNC, we would love to have him,” Fedora said.
