Davis walks on, ads cause stir

Drew Davis, son of former North Carolina coach Butch Davis and quarterback at East Chapel Hill High, will be a "preferred walk-on" with the Tar Heels. Despite offers from FCS schools and an opportunity to walk-on at Miami, Davis' destination makes plenty of sense. While his father was coaching the Tar Heels, Davis was just like any other teenager in high school establishing friends and his own path.
