Who is Carolina?

I have discovered that determining just who is the "real Carolina" is a common discussion in this part of the country. Mention "Carolina" to anybody in the Palmetto State, and they are sure to begin conversation about Steve Spurrier, Williams-Brice Stadium and "Cocky." But drive up I-77 to Charlotte and speak of "Carolina," and the response will certainly involve Roy Williams, James Worthy and now even UNC football coach Butch Davis. (Aiken Standard)
