Posted Jun 30, 2012
In the opening game of preliminary play at the FIBA U17 World Championship in Lithuania, California sharpshooter Stephen Domingo provided a team-high 17 points as the United States downed Australia, 89-67. Jahlil Okafor (16 points), Conner Frankamp (13 points, 5 assists), Jabari Parker (11 points, 8 rebounds) and Joel Berry (10) joined Domingo in double figures. Both Parker and Berry were returning from injuries that kept them out of the Canary Islands event.
