South Carolina running back Cory Boyd has no regrets calling himself a Tar Heel basketball fan. As many children of the 1980s did, he idolized Michael Jordan and dreamed of one day mimicking the legend's game-winning jumper against Georgetown in the finals of the 1982 NCAA tournament. Boyd's opinion of the North Carolina football program was never as high.
