Who needs hoops when football is starting to show signs of success

This weekend, UNC's campus will be graced by two events of enormous stature. On Friday, there is Late Night with Roy – the annual comedy show/dunk contest that officially begins the 2007-08 season for UNC basketball. The next day, the football Gamecocks of South Carolina come to town. And, for the first time since the four corners offense was popular and Dick Crum graced a Kenan Stadium sideline, the latter actually means something.
