LB Darius Lipford Reinjures Knee


North Carolina junior linebacker reinjured his left ACL during a rehab session last Thursday and will undergo reconstructive surgery that will force him to miss the 2012 season. The injury occurred on July 12. Surgery is scheduled for August. Lipford originally tore his ACL during the Independence Bowl versus Missouri on Dec. 26, 2011. (Inside Carolina)
