Posted Jul 22, 2012
Defensive reserves D.J. Bunn and Keeon Virgile are no longer on the North Carolina football team, a UNC official confirmed on Sunday. Bunn, a junior from Smithfield, N.C., was listed as second on the depth chart at free safety on UNC's post-spring two-deep released in April. Virgile, a North Miami Beach, Fla., redshirted his freshman season in 2011.
