Top Prospect Matt Harvey to Make Debut on Thursday

Matt Harvey, the most advanced of the Mets’ promising pitching prospects, will make his long-awaited major league debut Thursday night. Harvey, a 23-year-old right-hander, will join the team in Queens on Monday. He will be activated Tuesday, then travel with the team this week to Phoenix, where he will start their series opener against the Arizona Diamondbacks.
