North Carolina spent the past two seasons under an NCAA cloud, and the Tar Heels underachieved both seasons, not surprising considering the circumstances. There's a new coaching staff in place this season and also a sense that the sky is clearing a bit even if the Tar Heels are banned from postseason play this fall because of NCAA transgressions.
