Tar Heels Open Olympics Early In United Kingdom

Three former Tar Heels are helping kick off the London Olympics before the games officially open on Friday. Women’s soccer early round play begins Wednesday at 11:00 a.m. eastern time, 4:00 p.m. in London. The U.S. women, including three-time Olympian Heather O’Reilly who graduated from UNC in 2006 and two-time Olympian Tobin Heath, a 2010 graduate, kick off at noon eastern against France.
