Rasheed Wallace fills elder statesman role in summer league

Though his NBA career ended in 2010, Rasheed Wallace has been a continuing presence at the Pro-Am, where he is often teamed with current Tar Heels P.J. Hairston and Leslie McDonald on the Sheraton Imperial team. His teammates said the knowledge he accrued through 15 NBA seasons is invaluable. “He’s screaming at us, he’s always looking for us to get out and run,” Hairston said.
