Can we talk about ? The former Diamond Heel made his Major League debut last night, and threw 5.1 scoreless innings in Phoenix, struck out 11, allowed just three hits and surrendered three walks, and was 2-2 at the plate. He is the first pitcher since at least 1900 to have 10+ strikeouts and two hits in his debut. The game ended late on the east coast, but the New York bullpen held on. (Tar Heel Monthly)
