Coach Davis back after two-day absence

North Carolina football coach Butch Davis was back at practice Thursday, a day after returning from his brother-in-law's funeral in Tulsa, Okla. "It's a tough situation for our family, and more so certainly for my wife," said Davis, whose Tar Heels (2-4) play host to No. 7 South Carolina (5-1) on Saturday (3:30 p.m., WTVD).
