Tar Heels' Bernard prepares for spread offense

Keeping Giovani Bernard happy is relatively simple. He's a running back, and he wants the ball as often as possible — in every North Carolina game. Bernard knows after spring practice and a few practices late last week that there is a big spot for him in the offense — best described as a spread — that new coach Larry Fedora likes to run.
