Former North Carolina midfielder Kirk Urso dies


Columbus Crew midfielder , the captain of UNC's 2011 national championship team, died Saturday night, the team announced Sunday. He was 22. No other details about Urso's death were available early Sunday. After leading UNC to a national title in his senior season, Urso, a Lombard, Ill. native, was the 10th overall pick in Major League Soccer's supplemental draft in January. (WRAL Sports Fan)
